EGIL Co-operative Purchasing Web Form

The EGIL Co-operative Purchasing web form will provide notification of expensive items ordered by EGIL partners and will assist other partners in purchasing decisions.

Notification criteria

  • The price of items to be notified on the Co-operative Purchasing Web Form is 75 or more.
  • Items currently in print and second-hand or antiquarian items should be notified.
  • Donations of items which meet the price criteria should be notified as well as donations of significant collections, where the individual items do not necessarily reach the price levels.
  • An individual monograph within a series should be notified if it fulfils the price criteria.
  • All media other than print (eg microform, CD-ROM, web) should be notified, regardless of price.
  • Any new subscriptions to periodicals and purchase of backsets should be notified, regardless of price.

Notification procedure

  • Complete the web form for each item. Enter all available information in the appropriate boxes and click on the Send button.
  • An email will be sent automatically to the EGIL-PURCHASING mailing list.

Access to the purchasing information 1. Details of notified items can be accessed by searching or browsing the EGIL mailing list archives.
